Comic Relief's Greatest Hits: Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg and Robin Williams introduce clips of memorable skits and stand-up routines in this retrospective on HBO's annual fund-raiser for the homeless. The two-hour presentation features Garry Shandling, Richard Lewis, Elayne Boosler, Bob Saget.

Roseanne and Tom Arnold, Bill Cosby, Howie Mandel and Burt Reynolds are the Class Clowns, who mix tales from their own teen times with encouragement to stay in school. Rosie raps with the girls and Tom holds court with some boys at the L.A. high school attended by Roseanne's daughter; the other clowns visit their alma maters.

At press time, entertainment plans called for stand-up routines by Jerry Seinfeld and Rosie O'Donnell; a salute to TV comediennes, past and present; homages to Johnny Carson and Bill Cosby; and a tribute to Ted Turner, who receives the Governors Award from Candice Bergen. Slated presenters include Roseanne and Tom Arnold, Burt Reynolds, Richard Lewis, Angela Lansbury, Rob Morrow, Charles S. Dutton, Garry Shandling, Sam Waterston, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Jason Priestley, Scott Bakula, Jay Thomas, Beau Bridges, Lloyd Bridges and Mariel Hemingway.
