Debut: Beavis and Butt-head creator Mike Judge teams with The Simpsons' former executive producer Greg Daniels for this new animated sitcom. The series employs neither the lowbrow humor of Beavis nor the pop-culture satire of The Simpsons. Instead, Daniels promises a more traditional "Andy Griffith-style show." The main character is Hank Hill, a Texas suburbanite who's "irritated with everyday annoying things," according to Judge (who also supplies Hank's voice). What's really irritating Hank in the opener is an overzealous social worker who calls him an unsuitable parent after someone spots his 12-year-old son with a black eye.
