Aidan Quinn stars as a witness to a mob murder who comes to regret his decision to testify in this 1985 made for cable movie. Let's one night, Manhattan restaurateur Sam Falcon (Quinn) stops at a bar to make a phone call. Moments later, a hit man (David Cummings) empties his gun into a loan shark. When the police arrive on the scene Sam—the perfect witness—is the only one to come forward. Sam soon discovers, however, that by agreeing to testify he has unwittingly entangled himself in a power struggle between the DA and a zealous U.S. attorney named James Falcon (Brian Dennehy), who is conducting a mob investigation. Rather than "prosecute the specific murder," Falcon tells him, it's our job to prove that there is a criminal conspiracy. But when thugs brutally attack his young son in retaliation, Sam refuses to cooperate further. Undeterred, Falcon joins his star witness for obstruction of justice.
