An espionage thriller propelled by vigorous action scenes and engrossing plot twists. Peter Strauss portrays Saul Grisman, a hard-boiled CIA agent whose code name is Romulus. David Morse is Chris Klimoonis, a secretive CIA operative whose code name is Remus. Both men were recruited as boys from an orphanage by John Eliot (Robert Mitchum), a powerful CIA officer who became their surrogate father and sole director of their deadly missions over the years. The aftermath of one of those missions convinces Romulus that Eliot has gotten out of control. He's right, and he's in big trouble. Eliot has ordered that he be killed.
