The opener features John J. McCloy, who was an adviser to four Presidents and who, says Sevaed, "was involved in almost every major Governmental decision in World War II." In the first of two interviews, McCloy talks about wartime leaders he knew, including Presidents Roosevelt and Truman, Sir Winston Churchill, and American generals like Eisenhower, MacArthur, Marshall and Patton. McCloy also recalls the internment of Japanese-Americans and the decision to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Guests on upcoming programs include former diplomat George Kennan. (60 min.)
