Why? Even Greenwood is in the dark: "I don't know exactly what it is [my character's] done," he says, "but it makes it really interesting to play." Tobe Hooper ("Poltergeist"), who directs the opener, effectively depicts Veil's confusion when his wife (Megan Gallagher) denies knowing him, and evokes his paranoia when a sinister psychiatrist (L.A.
