A review of code-breaking during World War II illustrates how information from unscrambled messages proved vital to a number of Allied victories, including the Battle of Midway, generally considered to be the turning point of the war in the Pacific. Set in 1939, it's about a wily adolescent, Peter (Robert Sean Leonard), who watches in horror as everyone he knows turns into a brainwashed Third Reich partisan.
