A 10-PART SERIES BEGINS Dick Clark's: Debut: Some of rock's most accomplished performers and songwriters—from Bo Diddley to Run-DMC—wax nostalgic over 40 years of music history. The 10-hour series opens with "Renegades," a look at the origins of rock in the '50s, when artists such as Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley transformed rhythm and blues into something new. "We wanted to boogie," says Little Richard, in one of the scores of new interviews with some of the biggest stars of the genre.
