There, Aslan the lion tells them that they must
find the long-lost Prince Rilian (Richard Hen-
ders), so that he can succeed his father as king.
The ensuing quest is fraught with mystery, en-

Tina Majorino shines as Alice in a fanciful
made-for-TV rendering of the Lewis Carroll
classic. The 1990 fantasy takes the youngster
through the looking glass into a surreal realm,
where she takes tea with the Mad Hatter (Mar-
tin Short) and March Hare (Adrian Gettle) and
witnesses a battle between Tweedledee
(George Wendt) and Tweedledum (Robbie Col-
trane). There's also a musical interlude with the
Mock Turtle (Gene Wilder) and a croquet match
with the Queen of Hearts (Miranda Richard-
