TREEHOUSE OF HORROR VI
Two-dimensional cartoon character Homer Simpson takes a trip to the third dimension in the clever finale of the series' annual Halloween trilogy. Based on a Twilight Zone episode by Richard Matheson, the climactic vignette uses digital-effects technology to depict Homer trapped in a weird, 3-D universe where, in his words, "my stomach sticks way out in front."
In another segment, an animated Paul Anka croons to help Springfield combat giant advertising-campaign characters in the "Attack of the 50-Foot Eyesores." And a "Nightmare on Elm Street" spoof finds Groundskeeper Willie menacing children ala Freddy Krueger.

BOO! TO YOU TOO, WINNIE THE POOH. LAMB CHOP IN HAUNTED HOUSE. w/Shari Lewis & Jan Rubes. 10/27/96
