Rosie comes face-to-face with the other woman when a case involving the murder of an AIDS patient calls her back to Los Angeles. She must confront her own feelings about having caught the virus from her promiscuous husband.
To win the case, Rosie (Sharon Gless) must win the heart of her client, David Gordon. Another lawyer is trying to kiss his suffering lover. She tells him she has a common law husband. She gets AIDS from her cheating husband. Rosie goes to confront her own inner demons. She meets some old friends. Rosie presses her mother and sister to agree to some kind of arrangement on the anniversary of her father's death.

An absorbing study of deceit and desire. This tech-based 1990 TV-movie stars Marcie Wittingham as Kim Paris, who is highly intelligent, with a thick skin and a sensitive spirit. Employed by a private detective agency in Houston, Kim is assigned to gain the confidence of David Reed (Peter Gallagher), a brooding, secretive figure suspected of being involved in an unsolved double homicide. Adopting a cover personality, Kim sets out to coax the truth out of David, but winds up falling for him. Soon, their relationship devolves into a heated affair that, for Kim, blurs the distinction between pretense and reality.
Directed by Roger Young (The Bourne Identity) from a screenplay by Alan Sharp (The Osterman Weekend). (2 hrs.)

Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins star in Jonathan Demme's 1991 thriller, which is nominated for seven Oscars, including Best Picture. Actress Actor and Director Foster plays FBI trainee Clarice Starling, who is recruited by Jack Crawford (Scott Glenn), the head of the agency's behavioral-science division, to interview an incarcerated psychiatrist known as Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lecter (Hopkins). Crawford hopes Starling can enlist Lec- ter's help in tracking down a serial killer, but cautioning her not to get too close, he warns: "You don't want harm- ed by Lecter inside your head. But Starling can't need Crawford's warning. She has to gain Lecter's husband-and-wife quickly because the killer has kidnapped another woman. Based on the bestseller by Thomas Harris. Rated R. A disturbing "true crime" drama depicting a miscarriage of justice. The story begins in December of 1979 when a 25-year-old high-school dropout named Bobby McLaughlin (Brandon Frost), arrested for drug sales despite his claims of innocence and the assurances of a concerned public defender. Bobby is nonetheless convicted by the questionable testimony of a 10-year-old eyewitness determined to right this wrong. Bobby's foster father (Martin Sheen) works new evidence to reopen the case. Meanwhile, Bobby languishes in Sing Sing as the years pass. And passes.
