We're mesmerized by the strange and startling outcome of Roseanne Arnold's various dabblings in plastic surgery. But for the first time in six stellar seasons, the self-proclaimed Domestic Goddess looks all wrong for her blue-collar role. While modification of one's body and features is a personal choice, the fact remains that we'll miss Rosey's comfy, lived-in look. On a brighter note, Cheers to all the voters who finally awarded Roseanne a well-deserved Emmy. It sure took you long enough.

FAREWELL TO THE SERIES
In 1988, the "Domestic Goddess" fashioned a hit series from her stand-up act. After nearly a decade of high ratings, controversial episodes and turmoil behind the scenes, the sitcom is closing up shop. In the hourlong series finale, Darlene and David bring home their new baby. Roseanne's sage advice for her daughter? "The best part is when you can mold their tender little egos to fit your every whim," she says archly. But the baby's not the only news. When friends and family gather to celebrate the birth, Becky and Mark are concealing a secret—and Leon and Scott (Martin Mull, Fred Willard) make an announcement. (1:00)
